Sunday Preaching on 2 Kings 9 “The dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel”

Come to Cedar Rapids Bible Chapel (CRBC) and join us as we delve into the action-packed chapter of 2 Kings. It’s a chapter filled with revenge, treachery, and bloodshed. I’m a big fan of CRBC and the people there. They hold to the habit of expository preaching, which means they go through books of the Bible verse by verse. I appreciate that the church is led by elders, and many of the men in the church are able to teach from the Word on Sundays.
I particularly enjoy the special weekly Lord’s Supper service at 9 a.m. It’s a great opportunity to focus on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. I love that each week, different men in the chapel share Bible verses, hymns, or short devotions that all center around the crosswork of Jesus. These preparations help us celebrate His death until His return.
I’ll be preaching at the 10:30 a.m. Family Bible Hour. Afterward, there will be a Fellowship Meal where everyone is welcome to join.
