Sharing the Light of Christ at Light Up the Square

A popular annual tradition for folks from Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky is gathering on Friday night after Thanksgiving to kick off the Christmas season with a party at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati. Duke Energy’s “Light Up the Square” features Santa rappelling down the side of a high-rise building, a fireworks show, and the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree.

For many years, we’ve attended this event, not for the alcohol or music, but because there are lost people there who need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ! Join us Friday, November 27th, at 6:30 PM as we hand out gospel tracts and share the good news that the Light of the World has come and shines in the darkness!

We’ll spend a couple of hours sharing the gospel, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. We’ll meet at the corner of 5th and Walnut, near Graeter’s Ice Cream. Be sure to dress warmly, as it can get quite chilly! We’ll have plenty of gospel tracts for everyone to hand out.

The closest parking is in the garage directly beneath Fountain Square. It’s called the Fountain Square South Garage, located at 416 Vine St., Cincinnati, OH 45202. Parking is typically around $10.
