Join us at the Germantown Fair Gospel Booth Outreach

There are moments when the Lord opens doors in ordinary places—busy walkways, food stands, and family gatherings—so the extraordinary message of the gospel can be heard. This year, we invite you to experience one of those moments at our Gospel Outreach Booth at the Germantown Fair.

Whether you’re curious about evangelism, eager to grow in boldness, or simply want to observe, this is a wonderful opportunity to come, watch, and learn how the good news of Jesus Christ is shared with grace and compassion. Not everyone feels ready to speak with strangers about Christ—and that’s okay. This outreach is designed so that no speaking is necessary for volunteers who prefer to observe. You can:

• Watch seasoned evangelists lovingly engage fairgoers
• See real conversations unfold in a natural setting
• Learn practical ways to communicate the gospel
• Grow in confidence simply by being present

Often, the most powerful training comes not from a classroom, but from seeing the gospel shared in real time.

Even if you never say a word, you can play a vital role through prayer. While experienced team members share verbally, volunteers are encouraged to pray quietly for conversations, softened hearts, and open doors. Scripture reminds us that the work is ultimately God’s. “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” — 1 Corinthians 3:6 Prayer acknowledges that salvation is the Lord’s work, and it invites Him to move in power during each interaction.

Our aim is simple: to lift high the name of Jesus and proclaim the message of reconciliation through Him. The gospel we share is rooted in the truth of Scripture:

• Our need:
  “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
• God’s love:
  “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
• Our hope:
  “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Romans 10:13

Every conversation, tract, and prayer points back to the finished work of Christ—His life, death, and resurrection. You don’t need experience. You don’t need to be outgoing. You only need a willing heart. Come if you want to:

• See biblical evangelism modeled
• Grow in your love for the lost
• Support gospel work through prayer
• Be encouraged by God at work in real time

You may find that simply standing nearby, praying, and watching will deepen your burden for souls and your confidence in the power of the gospel.

We warmly invite you to stop by the booth during the fair. Stay for a few minutes or linger longer—observe, pray, and let the Lord stir your heart. Jesus said: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” — Matthew 9:37–38. Come be part of that prayer. Come see the harvest fields. Come watch the gospel go forth.
