Preaching Jesus for Leftist, Pro-Abortion Government School Administrators

From July 2–8, 2026, our team will be present at the annual convention of the National Education Association (NEA)in Denver, Colorado — the largest teachers’ union in the United States and a major influencer in public education today. For many years, this outreach was organized by Answers in Genesis, and we are grateful for the foundation they laid. Here’s a blog article by Ken Ham on the gospel outreach. Today, it continues under the leadership of Gospel Equip, equipping believers to engage thoughtfully and lovingly with educators from across the country.

This outreach is not about changing school curriculum or imposing ideas on classrooms. Instead, our focus is on the hearts of public school teachers. We aim to bring them to repentance and faith in Jesus, trusting that as their hearts change, they will naturally impact their students through the way they live and teach, bringing a Christian worldview to their classrooms organically.

The NEA represents a culture and worldview that often conflicts with biblical truth (It is a leftist, liberal, marxist, pro-abortion, explicitly anti-homeschooling, implicilty anti-Christ political organization), so the convention is a strategic place for gospel conversations. Our presence there is a faithful, loving witness to teachers who are shaping the next generation.

During the convention, our team will egngage teachers and education leaders in respectful, gospel-centered conversation, distribute resources that encourage reflection on the truth of Creation, and demonstrate Christlike humility in every interaction, Even small conversations can plant seeds that God may grow into life-changing faith.
