Witnessing Training for Students at Emmaus University

January 28 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

I’m thankful for the opportunity to spend time with students at Emmaus University on April 14 for a focused witnessing training designed to equip and encourage students to confidently share the gospel.

College is a season filled with learning, growth, and important decisions—but it’s also a season rich with gospel opportunity. Campuses are full of conversations about meaning, truth, identity, and purpose. Scripture reminds us that “you are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14), and God has strategically placed His people exactly where they are for His purposes.

This training is designed to help students see evangelism not as a pressure-filled activity, but as a natural overflow of a life transformed by Christ. Jesus did not call His followers to be silent believers, but faithful witnesses: “You will be My witnesses” (Acts 1:8). Sharing the gospel is not reserved for experts—it is the joyful calling of every Christian.

During this time together, we’ll focus on:

  • Gaining confidence in the message of the gospel

  • Learning how to start spiritual conversations naturally

  • Understanding how Scripture speaks to the human conscience

  • Trusting God with the results of our witness

The apostle Paul wrote, “We are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us” (2 Corinthians 5:20). That truth shapes how we approach evangelism—with humility, clarity, and dependence on God rather than ourselves. Students will be encouraged to see that evangelism is not about winning arguments or forcing outcomes. It’s about faithfully proclaiming Christ and trusting the Holy Spirit to open hearts.

Please pray for this time—that God would prepare hearts, grant boldness, and use His Word to bear lasting fruit. I’m grateful for the chance to invest in the next generation of gospel witnesses and look forward to seeing how God uses this training for His glory.
